How I work
Show me what
you’re dreading.
I’ll find out how to make it easier. A one-off task or repetitive work: we start with the job you want done.
You show me the work.
What work is piling up? What do you dislike doing? And what would you like the computer to solve for you? An example often says more than a long description. For team tasks, I like to sit with the person who does the work every day.
We know which task you want off your hands and what result you need.We make it concrete.
I look at the files, software and steps involved. Then we agree on what I’ll do, what you’ll provide, and the time and costs involved. For a small task, that can be brief; for a larger process, we start with one part.
A defined task and clear agreements beforehand.I make it work.
I build the solution and try it on an example. Together we check the result, including unusual cases. For a recurring task, we agree on when the computer can carry on and when a person should take a look.
A result you can inspect and assess for yourself. You can move on.
For a one-off task, I deliver the agreed result. For recurring work, I show you how to use the solution, recognise exceptions and respond when something changes.
The backlog is cleared, or the next round takes less manual work.
What work would your team like off their hands?
Tell me which task keeps piling up. We’ll see what the computer can take care of.
